4. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

- Ensuring safe and reasonable access to the property
- Disclosing pets, hazards, household routines, or special requirements
- Providing parking, entry instructions, and service details where needed
- Securing valuables, sensitive documents, and personal belongings
5. House Sitting Limitations
We may refuse or limit work involving unsafe conditions, undisclosed pets, biohazards, pests, hazardous materials, illegal activity, or any situation that may create unreasonable risk. Additional charges may apply for special requests, extended visits, or services outside the original quote.
6. Cancellations and Rescheduling
Customers should provide reasonable notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Repeated cancellations, short-notice changes, inaccessible properties, or missed appointments may affect future booking availability or result in additional fees if communicated in advance.
7. Payments
Payment terms, accepted payment methods, deposits, and due dates may be provided at the time of booking or quotation. Services may be paused, declined, or discontinued if payment is not received as agreed.
8. Care, Precautions, and Unforeseen Events
House Sitting By Judit takes every reasonable precaution and makes every effort to provide attentive, dependable care. The safety and well-being of each pet and property are treated as a top priority, and care instructions provided by the owner are followed as closely as reasonably possible.
Although serious incidents are never expected and every reasonable effort is made to prevent them, rare and unforeseen events can occur. These may include sudden illness, injury, escape, disappearance, death, severe weather, property-system failures, theft, or the actions of third parties.
9. Limitation of Liability
In the rare event that such a situation arises, House Sitting By Judit will make reasonable efforts to contact the owner and respond according to the information and emergency instructions provided. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, House Sitting By Judit is not liable for a pet’s illness, injury, escape, disappearance, or death, including related veterinary expenses or other losses.
Pet owners are responsible for providing complete and accurate care and emergency instructions and for disclosing all known medical conditions, medications, behavioural concerns, and other relevant risks before service begins.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, House Sitting By Judit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of this website or services. Our liability for any direct claim related to services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim, where permitted by applicable law.
